3. Pull as rmly as is comfortable, increasing

suction weekly.

4. When the nipple has been pulled out, hold the valve and

pull on the syringe to separate the valve from the syringe.

You are now free to continue your daily activities wearing

the Niplette. It is concealed under loose clothing or may

be held in place by a brassiere.

5. To remove the Niplette, push the syringe into the valve

to release the vacuum.

6. To obtain the best results, use a comfortable suction and

wear the Niplette for as many hours as comfortable. It is

possible to wear the Niplette overnight.

Correction should be seen within 3-12 weeks of consistent

(8 hours/day) daily use. Length of treatment required will

vary depending on the duration of daily use and in cases of

inversion, the severity of the condition.

When the nipple can easily be drawn to the end of the

thimble, use of the Niplette can be reduced. Some

retraction may occur because of the nature of elastic tissue

in the nipple. A repeated session of 1-3 weeks will help

restore and maintain the nipple shape.

Precaution:

Pulling too hard on the nipple with the Niplette will cause

discomfort. If this occurs lessen the suction.

The Niplette

™

uses the principles of tissue expansion to

stretch and lengthen short breast ducts. Because of the

unique valve, the instrument can apply suction for extended

intervals. It is through prolonged use that permanent

correction is achieved. It is painless and easy to use but

medical consultation is recommended.

Indication for use:

The Niplette may be used to correct at and inverted breast

nipples which developed as a result of hereditary factors

or during puberty. Prolonged use will draw the nipple out,

cosmetically enhancing the contour of the nipples. The Niplette

has also been proven to be effective for drawing out inverted

nipples to facilitate nursing. However, the Niplette should not

be used for permanent correction until lactation is completed.

Contraindication:

The Niplette should NOT be used without medical advice in

the following circumstances:

• when inverted nipples developed later in life

• during the last trimester of pregnancy

Directions for use:

1. Push the tip of the syringe port rmly into the end of the

Niplette opposite the thimble. Be sure the syringe “locks”

into place against the spring loaded valve.

2. Hold the Niplette over the nipple with one hand and apply

suction by pulling on the syringe with the other. (A small

Adverse Reactions:

Excessive suction force applied to the nipple could cause

bleeding to occur. Some individuals may notice a small

amount of discharge from their nipples, this is entirely

normal. If you experience more discharge or pain, decrease

the amount of suction and consult a medical professional.
